At Bennett Interiors / Home Philosophies, every order is handled with care and intention. Because we are a boutique retailer based in Naples, Florida, our furnishings, lighting, and accessories are sourced directly from a wide network of vendors and manufacturers across the United States and abroad.
Each vendor has unique production and shipping timelines, so delivery times and processes may vary depending on the brand, product type, and shipping location. What never varies is our commitment to keeping you informed every step of the way — that’s what makes purchasing from a boutique like ours so special.
1. Order Processing
- All orders are carefully reviewed and submitted to the appropriate vendor or manufacturer within 1–3 business days after payment is received.
- Orders placed after 5 PM EST will be processed the next business day.
- We do not process or ship orders on weekends or holidays.
- Once your order is submitted to our vendor, we’ll email you a Purchase Order Confirmation — this means your item is officially in the production or fulfillment queue.
2. Vendor-Based Fulfillment
Since each product is fulfilled by a different vendor or supplier:
- Lead times vary by manufacturer and product category. Many furniture and lighting items are made-to-order and can take 8–20 weeks for production before shipment.
- Smaller décor, gift, or accessory items may ship within 5–10 business days when in stock.
- If an item is on backorder, we’ll notify you immediately and provide updated lead times.
3. Weekly Order Updates
When you order through us, you receive personalized updates every week following your order submission.
You don’t have to reach out for updates — we’ll reach out to you.
Each weekly update includes:
- Current status of your order (in production, awaiting shipment, in transit, etc.)
- Any vendor-provided tracking information or estimated completion dates
- Notes from our design and logistics team

4. Shipping Times
Estimated shipping times once an order leaves the vendor’s warehouse:
- United States: 5–10 business days
- Canada: 7–14 business days
- International: 10–20 business days
Please note: these timeframes may vary depending on your location, carrier delays, customs, and the vendor’s fulfillment center.
5. Shipping Carriers
We partner with trusted carriers such as UPS, FedEx, DHL, and freight companies specializing in furniture delivery.
Whenever possible, we request white-glove or threshold delivery to ensure your order arrives safely.
Carrier selection depends on the vendor’s shipping arrangements and location.
6. Tracking Information
- Once your order has shipped, you’ll receive a tracking number by email.
- Please allow 24–48 hours for tracking details to become active.
- Larger items or freight deliveries may require a scheduled delivery appointment — we’ll coordinate that for you directly.
7. Multiple Shipments
Because we partner with many vendors, your order may arrive in multiple shipments or on different dates.
You’ll receive individual tracking details for each shipment as they are released.
8. Customs, Duties, and Taxes
For international shipments:
- Import duties, taxes, and brokerage fees are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in the purchase price or shipping cost.
- These fees vary by country and are collected by the local customs authority.
9. Delays
While we do our best to meet estimated delivery timelines, unexpected delays may occur due to:
- Vendor production timelines or material shortages
- Weather or carrier disruptions
- High seasonal demand
- Customs clearance
We will notify you of any delays as soon as we are informed by the vendor and keep you updated until your order arrives.
